Service Description

This online summer course is designed to help students build confidence speaking Italian through a combination of authentic materials, guided practice, and conversation. Each lesson follows a three-step structure: 1. Watch and Listen Students begin by watching a short video clip featuring real-life Italian situations, such as ordering at a café, making a phone call, or interacting in a restaurant. The videos expose students to natural language, pronunciation, and cultural context. 2. Guided Language Practice After the video, students complete a structured exercise that reinforces the vocabulary and grammar used in the clip. Activities focus on nouns, adjectives, useful expressions, and present-tense verbs while helping students practice correct article and gender agreement. 3. Speak in Italian The lesson concludes with conversation practice in small breakout groups. Students speak continuously in Italian for approximately five minutes, applying the language they have just learned in a supportive environment. The goal is to encourage fluency, confidence, and spontaneous communication rather than perfection. By combining authentic Italian, guided learning, and active speaking, students develop practical language skills they can use immediately in real-life situations.
