Service Description

This introductory course teaches the fundamentals that will allow you to speak, read and write basic Italian. We teach grammar principles and delve into irregular verbs, at the present tense, possessive adjectives and prepositions. We also explore Italian culture through conversation, readings and other grammar exercises, including audio and video. Acquire an authentic knowledge of Italian through our emphasis on pronunciation and idiomatic expression. You will learn how to introduce yourself and others, talk about where you are from, describe yourself and others, order food and drinks in a café. The main grammar topics covered are gender and number of nouns, articles and adjectives, irregular verbs essere (to be) and avere (to have), regular -are, -ere, verbs, idiomatic expressions with verb avere (to have). Please notice, this is held at a private business and the time is set as CST. What you will need: 1. Access to Google Drive 2. Books: Dieci from Novice Low to Noice High from Alma Edizioni 3. Pen, paper and good attitude. Please note: class requires a minimum of 8 students, so we reserve the right to cancel the event (and provide a refund), should the minimum not be reached *We want to foster a positive, all-inclusive environment so controversial topics are going to be excluded.
